Welcome to the Royal Oak - Public House & Restaurant
Fine Food Not Fast Food.
Can you imagine a more idyllic scene?
A beautiful late 15th Century Tudor pub, recently fully refurbished without losing any of the respect for its period and elegance.
As we stand at the front – to the right is a the Church of all Saints – well worthy of a visit, and to the left is the 16th Century Guildhall – not only now the museum, but a delightful piece of both history and architecture in its own right.
To the backdrop of this scene is the welcoming atmosphere of the Royal Oak – Laxfield
With new landlord Peter and chef Karen (“the other half”); you can be assured of a warm and sincere family welcome, and of course, fine traditional Ales, lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks.
Feeling tempted? – Then complete the scene with a wonderful meal in either the restaurant or the bar where the menu’s have been selected with care to suit every pallet.
Our restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday evenings from 6.30pm and the bar menu is available every day (except Monday) for lunch (12.00 – 2.00).
With roaring open fires when the weather is cold you can be assured of a warm welcome and great family hospitality on every occasion
The Royal Oak – Laxfield open Monday 6-11pm and tuesday - saturday from 11 (12 on Sunday)
Let us spoil you – you deserve it
